This is one of the best-tasting cocktail shots. It truly tastes like a rich fluffy chocolate cake in liquid form.

It may surprise you to know there are no chocolate ingredients in this cocktail shot but there is a sugar-coated lemon.

I know it is really odd but it works. The Frangelico has a Nutella flavor that works great in this yummy drink.

It is kind of a deceptive recipe because you would not think it tastes like chocolate cake when you look at the ingredients. Who would think that vodka and Frangelico would make a delicious shot.

This cocktail shooter is also known as birthday cake shots and/or German Chocolate Cake Shot.

It is a great chocolate shot for special occasions, birthdays, or when you want a dessert-flavored cocktail shot.

    Recipe Tips

This recipe can be made in a large batch for parties. Just times the ingredients by how many shots you need and pour into multiple shot glasses.

You can also rim the shot glass with sugar to create a sugar rimmed glass and then suck on the lemon slices after drinking the shot.
