This Crock Pot Porter Stroganoff Recipe has been about a year in the making. John has been telling me for over a year that he really wanted to try a porter stroganoff.

Crock Pot Porter Stroganoff Recipe
He thought the combination of porter beer and stroganoff was pretty much the best comfort food possible.
We finally made it happen and it was fantastic. John is so happy with this recipe. It truly is a great comfort food recipe. Perfect for those nights you want a filling meal without having to leave your house and get dressed up for a restaurant.
You can start the crockpot during the day and dinner will be ready when you want it!
Ingredients
- Butter
- Beef sirloin
- White onion
- White mushrooms
- Porter beer
- Cream of Mushroom Soup
- Sour cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Egg noodles
This makes a large portion of Crock Pot Porter Stroganoff! The sauce will thicken as you add in the mushrooms and the sour cream.
Crockpot - We suggest using a crockpot that has a digital timer that automatically switches the slow cooker to warm after a set amount of time. This helps make sure your dinner cooks perfectly and you don't have to stress about what time it is going to be done.
