This time of year is all about soups, stews and comfort foods in our house. Now that the weather is blah I love making rich and hearty meals that stick with you for a while. Plus making them in the slow cooker crock pot is so dang easy I have more time to dive into holiday craziness. I wish I was someone who had all of my holiday prep done by December 1st but that is so not happening this year. LOL! Thankfully this Crock Pot Slow Cooker Lentil Soup Recipe is so easy to make that I can save time for dinner that I can use for holiday prep.
This time of year is perfect for keeping crock pot soup recipes going all afternoon. I find that having it ready makes it so easy to dish up as people come in and out of the house. We always seem to have more people than normal in the house this year so having soup ready makes life a lot easier.
