    This is one of the first recipes we shared way back in 2011! It is hard to believe it has been almost eight years since we first posted this Creme Brulee Cheesecake Bars Recipe.
    These Creme Brulee Cheesecake Bars are sooooooo good! They are perfect for holiday parties, dessert or dinner parties. They look a lot harder to make than what they actually are, thankfully! You know I love easy recipes that save me time, energy and money!

     These are the perfect combination of cheesecake and cookie bar! I love that when you serve them at a party everyone thinks you spent hours in the kitchen but you know your truth.
     A couple of minutes of prep and these babies are ready for the oven and you get to hear how amazing they are!  I call this a total win!!
     Creme Brulee Cheese Cake Bars Recipe that is hard to resist! Crème brûlée, meet sugar cookie -- in this easy dessert bar recipe, both treats come together in each bite.

     Creme Brule Cheesecake Bars Recipe
    Ingredients
    1 pouch (1 lb 1.5 oz) sugar cookie mix
    1 box (4-serving size) French vanilla instant pudding and pie filling mix
    2 tablespoons packed brown sugar
    ½ cup butter or margarine, melted
    2 & ½ teaspoons vanilla
    2 eggs plus 3 egg yolks
     2 packages (8 oz each) cream cheese, softened
     ½ cup sour cream
     ½ cup sugar
     ⅔ cup toffee bits, finely crushed
    Directions
    1. Heat oven to 350°F.
    2. Lightly spray bottom and sides of 13x9-inch pan with cooking spray.
    3. In large bowl, stir cookie mix, pudding mix, brown sugar, melted butter, 1 teaspoon of the vanilla and 1 whole egg until soft dough forms.
    4. Press dough into bottom and ½ inch up sides of pan.
    5. In small bowl, beat cream cheese, sour cream and sugar with electric mixer on medium speed until smooth.
    6. Add remaining whole egg, 3 egg yolks and remaining 1 ½ teaspoons vanilla; beat until smooth.
    7. Spread over crust in pan.
    8. Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until set in center.
    9. Immediately sprinkle top with crushed toffee bits.
    10. Cool, 30 minutes.
    11. Refrigerate about 3 hours or until chilled.
    For bars, cut into 9 rows by 4 rows. Store covered in the refrigerator.
