This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of BUBBA Burger. All opinions are 100% mine. This week we are finally starting to see spring/summer weather here in Spokane! The sun is out and the barbecue was calling our name. It was time to dust off the barbecue and start grilling for the season! We made this BLT Burger with Avocado Aioli Recipe as our first recipe of the grilling season! Hello yum!
I picked up Original and Turkey BUBBA Burgers at our local grocery store and had them ready for the 1st day of sunshine. It’s funny how as soon as the weather says there is a chance of sunshine in our future I am stocking the fridge and freezer for barbecue season.
I always find it fascinating to learn the history of the food we eat and try to find out how they were created or what made them what they are. BUBBA Burgers was started in the early 90’s when Walter “BUBBA” Evans dreamed of creating the perfect juicy burger we could all enjoy. He wanted to make a product that he would be proud to serve family and friends.
Bubba chose to not use fillers or trimmings in his burgers instead focusing on using the highest quality ingredients he could including whole muscle meat chucks for the BUBBA Burgers. Another thing I love is that BUBBA decided he wanted the factory in his hometown of Elberton, Georgia! He wanted it in his hometown so he could always be sure of the quality and products that were being produced.
From starting in Southern US grocery stores BUBBA Burgers are now sold nationwide along with in military commissaries. They are now the #1 branded frozen burger in the US! As a small business owner who is following their dreams daily and trying to make sure we focus on producing the best work we humanly can this story really touched me.
I love that Mr. Evans had a dream of serving a burger that his friends and family would enjoy and he could be proud of and that dream has now grown to bringing all of our family and friends an amazing burger.
It is so nice knowing that one person’s dream has grown into a product that helps each of us enjoy our summer grilling season. Plus BUBBA Burgers has now grown from their original flavors to so many amazing varieties. You truly can find something for everyone from veggie burgers to Bacon Cheddar BUBBA Burgers (which are on John’s must try list!)
We hope you enjoy our 1st grilling recipe of the summer! Many more to come soon!
