Hello YUM! There is just something about using the slow cooker to make soups that make me happy. Working from home, I can smell the soups cooking all day and dream of how good they are going to taste. This Crock Pot Bacon Corn Chowder recipe is pretty darn delish if I do say so myself. I mean how can you go wrong with bacon in a corn chowder. YUM!
Plus it is super easy to make which is one of my big goals for this year! I want to try and save everyone as much time as possible in the kitchen, so you have more time to work on your goals, dreams, relax, sleep, watch funny cat videos ….you know all of life’s important to-dos. I know I am not the only one who enjoys a crazy cat video or 2.

2 C Chicken stock
1 tsp Garlic powder
2 sprigs Thyme, fresh (or 1 – 2 tsp dried)

- An optional step is at the end of the cooking process, blend the soup slightly with an immersion blender or a regular blender for a thicker soup. Garnish with a bit of extra bacon if you wish. Enjoy!
