I know you are probably wondering why I am sharing a Crock Pot Shepherd's Pie Recipe in the summer and not in March around St. Patrick's Day and the honest truth is it is so good I couldn't wait.

Crock Pot Shepherd's Pie Recipe

I made this recipe planning to share it around St. Patrick's day since when I think of Shepherds Pie I think of Ireland. I am not sure if they serve Shepherd's Pie in Ireland but I always think of them together. When we were in Ireland we had a ton of lamb stew but I don't think we had Shepherds Pie.

Anyway...enough of my rambling and thinking about Ireland. I hope you all love our Crock-Pot Shepherds Pie Recipe in July and don't think I am too crazy for not waiting until March to share it 🙂

Ingredients

  • Vegetable oil
  • Yellow onion
  • Ground beef
  • Beef bouillon cube
  • Beef stock
  • Worcestershire Sauce
  • Pepper
  • Frozen corn
  • Frozen peas
  • Sharp cheddar cheese
  • Package prepared mashed potatoes

I just made crockpot shepherd's pie a few days ago. So yummy! I've never included peas in my shepherd's pie, I may have to try that.

That looks absolutely delicious. We love Shepherd's Pie. It sounds easier to do using a crock pot.

That sounds awesome! I've made shepherd's pie a few times, and the family loved it. This is the easiest way ever to make it!

Anything made in a crock pot is great. Any time of the year is a good time for not having to heat up the stove.
