Easy 1 ingredient Slow Cooker Crockpot Caramel Sauce! Perfect for ice cream, apples, or any dessert you need caramel on.
Crockpot Caramel Sauce
I never would have thought that you could make caramel in a crockpot with only 1 ingredient prior to trying this.
I have to say it turned out amazing!!!!!
This was the first crockpot recipe that we shared back in April 6, 2012! Holy WOW! I can’t believe it has been almost 8 years since we started sharing Crockpot Slow Cooker Recipes
…..There is only 1
- Sweet Condensed Milk
Yep, that is it. One ingredient to make the most amazing caramel sauce!
Recipe Tips….. Easiest recipe ever!
After 8 hours your caramel sauce is ready! Be careful when you open the can it will be under pressure. Here is what happened when I opened our can
If your can opens like this make sure you take the caramel off the top before you keep opening the can. I was so excited to get the can open I did not think to get the caramel off the top. I ended up getting caramel all over the counter and me as I was opening the lid and it dripped all over the place.
Now that we have made this caramel sauce I keep coming up with a ton of things we can use it in.
Let me know if you try this recipe and how it turns out for you. I sent my Mom to the store and had her buy sweetened condensed milk and put it in her crockpot.
I didn’t tell her what it was going to make. I can’t wait to get the phone call and find out what she thinks when she opens the can. She keeps calling me and asking what it is going to make and I told her it was worth the surprise.
