This week I received an email from Albertsons asking if I could come up with a recipe using products from their Anniversary Sale.

You know I love a challenge! I headed to Albertsons to check out their Anniversary Sale with no real idea of what I wanted to make.

I figured I would let the sales ad guide me to the right recipe.....well I walked about 2 feet into the store and ran into a huge display of Cap'n Crunch Crunch Berries on sale for a killer price.

It has been years since I have enjoyed Cap'n Crunch Crunch Berries and I just had to have them. The price was right and I needed them but I wasn't sure what to do with them.

Oh did I mention that I also managed to knock down a huge portion of the display in my excitement reaching for the Captain Crunch.....yes I was that girl. oops!

As I was walking down the aisle I ran into a display of marshmallows on sale. Ok I didn't actually run into the display...thank goodness! I managed to not knock over this display ๐Ÿ™‚

It hit me that I could make a sweet treat with Cap'n Crunch Berries and Marshmallows! A sweet back to school treat that was super easy, everything was on sale and oh so yummy!

Woohoo Crunch Berry Treats were born!

My kids would love these crunch berry treats. What a great spin on rice crispy treats. I need to make these for half time treats for the cheerleaders this week. Thanks for the tips.

We make kripsie treats all the time, but have yet to try them with Cap'n crunch. What a great answer to the challenge!
