How to cook Quinoa in a Crock Pot! Let the slow cooker do all the work for you! You end up with a great side dish that is perfect for salads or any recipe. Easily adapted to use chicken stock or any other stock depending on your preference. Can be vegetarian or vegan!
How to cook Quinoa in the Crock Pot
1 C Quinoa
2C Chicken Broth, can easily change to vegetable broth
1. Put dry quinoa into a sieve. Rinse very well with water and transfer into a pot.
2. Cover quinoa with chicken broth. Cover and bring to a boil.
3. Turn down the heat to a simmer, and cook for approximately 20 minutes or until the quinoa has absorbed all of the broth.
4. Add a pat of butter and fluff with a fork if desired.
