2 Ingredient Peach Bars

If you have been following the site for a while you may have noticed I am hooked on making easy simple recipes that taste amazing. I am loving all of the 2 ingredient recipes including these 2 ingredient lemon bars and 2 ingredient cherry bars!

We have been testing and working on a ton of new recipes to share this year.  I am on a mission to create/share as many recipes as I can that are easy, not that expensive to make, and taste amazing.

Since it is so dang cold and snowy out I figure this is the perfect time to be in the kitchen playing with recipes. Keep an eye out for a ton of new crockpot recipes coming soon and dessert recipes!

Ingredients needed to make 2 ingredient Peach Bars

Angel Food Cake Mix - the ones that only need water added no other ingredients

Can of Peach Pie Filling

Equipment Needed

Large Bowl

9 X 13 Baking Pan

Cooking spray or Parchment Paper - I like this pre-cut parchment paper that makes it really easy to line pans.

Spatula

Baking Tips

All you need to do is combine both ingredients and then bake them in a 9X13 baking dish.

I would suggest mixing this by hand slowly. The Angel Food cake mix is super fine and can go all over the place if you try to mix to quicky. I did not try mixing it with my KitchenAid because I am pretty sure there would be cake mix all over the kitchen and me.

Make sure and mix SLOWLY! Even after making a ton of these, I managed to move too quickly and lose batter over the side of the bowl.

If you are using parchment paper to line your pan I suggest rubbing butter on the bottom of the pan to hold the parchment paper. This batter is thick and can cause the parchment paper to move all over the place.

DO NOT ADD WATER or follow the Angel Food Cake box instructions! Trust me it will not turn out the same.

Don't be surprised if the cake bars shrink once you remove them from the oven. As the heat releases the air also releases and the bars shrink.
