One of the reasons I am so excited to share this recipe is that John made it! Yes, my dear amazing Husband made this recipe and it turned out fantastic.
Chicken and Waffles with Spicy Dipping Sauce
I asked him for his ideas on making a great appetizer just using what we had in the freezer. As we gear up for football season and holiday get together's I thought it would be fun to highlight recipes that can be made with items already in the freezer.
We love using the freezer to stock up on food and know that we can easily whip something up when guests come over.
There are some great benefits of frozen foods that include not just being stocked up for guests and last minute get together's.
To make the Chicken and Waffles we used EGGO Mini Waffles and Frozen honey barbecue boneless chicken wings that we had in the freezer. We also used some honey to drizzle over the top.
Spicy Dipping Sauce
- Mayo
- Sriracha
- Sweetened condensed milk
- Lime
The Spicy Dipping Sauce also works great with Golden Crinkle Fries and Tater Tots!
You can easily set up an entire table of appetizers that are perfect to be used for dipping!
For vegetarian guests, you can make up some MorningStar Farms Parmesan Garlic Wings that are meatless and delicious.
Other great easy to make appetizer ideas include making Totinos Pizza Rolls with a side of alfredo or tomato dipping sauces.
Can you tell I am really into dipping sauces right now? They just seem to be the perfect addition to any appetizer tray.

Chicken and Waffles with Spicy Dipping Sauce
Ingredients
- 12 Eggo Minis
- 12 honey barbecue boneless chicken wings Frozen
Spicy Dipping Sauce
- 1 cup Mayo
- ¼ cup Sriracha
- 1 Tablespoon Sweetened Condensed Milk
- juice of ½ lime
Instructions
- Cook mini Eggo Waffles and frozen chicken wings according to instructions
Spicy Dipping Sauce
- Add all ingredients to a blender or food processor and blend until well combined
