Classic Knorr Spinach Dip is the perfect creamy appetizer dip for any party or as a snack. So easy to make and it tastes amazing.
Knorr Spinach Dip
I have to admit that I enjoyed this Spinach Dip a lot! I might have ended up eating the majority of it.
I found myself walking back to the refrigerator and making a small bowl of it with some chips and taking it to my desk while working.
This is honestly the perfect party dip! It has a classic taste everyone loves but with a bit of a twist using the Knorr vegetable recipe mix.
We serve this as a cold spinach dip recipe which I love because you can make it ahead of time and let it rest in the refrigerator.
I am all about any party appetizers that can be made ahead of time so you are not running around the kitchen trying to get everything done right before your guests arrive.
I always worry I will have curlers in my hair or be half-dressed in my party clothes and someone will knock on the door early.
Thankfully we started building a recipe box of appetizers that can be made ahead of time and finger food appetizers so parties are so much easier now to prepare for.
Ingredients
- Frozen Spinach -Chopped
- Sour Cream
- Real Mayonnaise - Hellmann's or Best Foods
- Knorr Vegetable Soup Mix
Optional - 8 oz Water Chestnuts, 3 Green Onions
Favorite Dippers - Crackers, Chips, Corn Chips, Bell Peppers, broccoli, cucumber, toasted slice of Sourdough bread.
You can also serve this in a bread bowl and it looks fantastic.
Equipment Needed
Paper Towels
Spatula/Wooden Spoon
Paper Towels - This is the easiest way to squeeze the excess water out of the chopped spinach. Make sure to cool the spinach down before squeezing it. You want to get as much liquid out of the spinach as possible.
Recipe Tips
Plan time for this Knorr Spinach Dip to rest in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
You can serve this appetizer dip in a bowl or in a bread bowl. We love the look of the bread bowl.
Water chestnuts and green onions can be added to this recipe if you want more flavor and texture.
This recipe can easily be doubled if you are serving a large number of guests. This is one of those game day appetizers everyone loves so we tend to make at least a double serving.
