Homemade Irish Cream

Yum! Yum! Yum! That is the easiest way to describe this homemade Irish Cream recipe!

So easy to make and tastes well delicious! I want to add this Irish cream to everything right now. Coffee, hot chocolate, ice cream, straight...really any way I can think to enjoy it.

This homemade Irish Cream recipe has been such a treat this week. John and I have been sipping on it while relaxing at night. It tastes amazing in coffee and hot chocolate! If you are in an area that is covered in snow this is the perfect treat to warm you up a bit 🙂

This recipe can be tweaked to your tastes! If you want more chocolate or coffee you can add more in. Make sure to use heavy cream when you make this. Milk is to thin and will not blend correctly.

You want to blend just until it is combined so the cream does not curdle.

Ingredients

  • Jameson Irish whiskey
  • Heavy cream
  • Sweetened condensed milk
  • Chocolate syrup
  • Vanilla extract
  • Instant coffee - I used Starbucks Via

Equipment Needed

Blender - Make sure you use a blender large enough for all the liquid.

Glass bottle - You want a glass bottle that seals and can hold the Irish Cream.

Make sure to store the Irish Cream in the refrigerator

Well this will give you a kick in the pants! I am a sucker for dairy alcoholic beverages, but they are dangerously too delicious!
