Ocean Grill Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

We took a water taxi from Puerto Vallarta about 30-45 minutes to the Ocean Grill. The scenery along the way is magnificent.

You pull up to the Ocean Grill and do a quick odd hop into their boat and then up to the dock to get to the restaurant.

Oh and I should mention the only way to access the Ocean Grill is by boat so be prepared! It is so worth the boat ride

When you pull up to the Ocean Grill you are greeted by a gorgeous white sand beach and a view of the restaurant overlooking the water.

It is a quick and easy walk from the dock up to the restaurant. Be prepared there are stairs that you have to climb up to get onto the dock. You can also access the restaurant from the beach.

Can we just take a moment to soak in this view....................................................................

Don't worry take as long as you need.........................

Just in case you needed another moment here you go..................................

Are you feeling a bit relaxed?

Are you feeling hungry after relaxing for a few moments.....why don't we chat about the amazing food at the ocean grill for a second. Don't worry there will be more relaxing pictures before we are done 🙂

Hello grilled octopus!

I am going to admit here and now that I did not eat this dish but one of the great guys traveling on our trip let me take a picture of it to share with everyone.

He said it was absolutely amazing.

I enjoyed one of the best veggie burgers I have ever had and a piece of the delicious key lime pie.

Doesn't this look heavenly! I mean seriously the combination of the view and a decadent piece of key lime pie = heaven on earth!

Remember that beach I mentioned earlier in the post....the one you can access from the restaurant....yeah it looks rough, doesn't it 🙂

This private Los Colomitos Beach is easily accessible from the restaurant and oh so gorgeous.

If you don't want to get sandy you can also visit the private floating island right off of the restaurant.

Hi Erica, Here is some info I found online
There are two places in the Puerto Vallarta area to catch the water taxi, Los Muertos Pier in Puerto Vallarta and a bit farther south in Boca de Tomatlan.

      We left from the pier.

just thought I'd mention you can also hike there from Boca de Tomatlan. It's about 45 minutes, with some steep bits so not for everyone. Also, the bathroom is the most awesome restaurant bathroom I've ever seen!
