I have to confess that I love the Olympics! John knows that we will be staying home during the Olympics and that the opening ceremony is one of my favorite things in the world. Seeing so many athletes who have dedicated their lives to their sport walking into a stadium and living a moment they have dreamed of brings me to tears every time!

The hours, love, dedication, pain, and energy that has gone into that single moment are beyond measure. They truly dedicate their entire lives to being the best they can be and representing their country. I get chills just thinking about it and writing this post.

The squeeze bottle of Smucker's Jam worked out great for making this cake! ย I really liked that I could easily make sure the edges of the cake had jam on them and then squeeze it across the rest of the cake.

I'm with you, the olympics are one of my favorite things. I'm an athlete myself and I so admire the dedication and sacrifices they've made. I also love this PBJ cake - I'll have to maki it with the Grandchildren. I'll be tweeting with you - any way I can help....thanks for the heads up.
