This is one of my favorite easy dessert dip recipes. It only takes minutes to prepare and tastes amazing. To me this tastes like eating funfetti cake mix off the spatula when you make a cake but the nice thing is there are no eggs in this recipe so you don't have to worry about eating raw eggs.

I am going to admit that I have eaten this Funfetti Cake Dip by the spoonful. It is that good.

I stocked up on Funfetti Cake Mixes a few weeks ago knowing that I was going to make a ton of fun recipes. Did you see the Funfetti Pancakes we shared along with the Funfetti Cake Mix Cookies. Hello YUM!

To be honest I try to keep at least 1 -3 boxes of Funfetti Cake Mix in the pantry at all times. You never know when you are going to have a day that has to include sprinkles and Funfetti Cake.

This is such a fun take on cake batter dip. Plus as a teenager in the 90s, I am going to fully admit to enjoying Dunkaroo Dip a time or two. How could you not enjoy dipping cookies in funfetti frosting. yes please!

I did find Dunkaroos in a vintage package on Amazon so I am ordering them to see how they taste now as an adult.

    Equipment Needed

Large Mixing Bowl - Use a bowl that is larger than you think you will need. This is the Bowl I used.

Spatula - Make sure you can get every last drop of this Dunkaroo Dip Snack out of the bowl.

    Recipe Tips

This dessert dip takes minutes to prepare. You can serve it immediately or let it chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes or until you are ready to serve it.

I have seen a few recipes with cream cheese added in for even more flavor.

To make this gluten-free you can substitute the recipe with a gluten-free funfetti cake mix.

Store your Funfetti Cake Dip in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

I have heard that you can freeze this homemade dunkaroo dip but I haven't tried it yet. You will want to freeze it in an airtight container that doesn't allow any moisture to get in.

You can customize this to a birthday party theme or holiday by adding in sprinkles that match the event you are serving it at.

If you want a chocolate version of this dessert dip you can switch out the Funfetti Cake Mix and use a chocolate cake mix and then add in sprinkles.

    How to make Dunkaroo Dip

This may be the easiest dessert dip you have made! All you need to do is combine the cake mix, yogurt, and cool whip in a large bowl and mix them together. Make sure to mix all of the ingredients together so you don't end up with dry cake mix bits that don't taste great.

Pick your favorite cookies or graham crackers to dip in and you are done!
