I received compensation by Dole in exchange for my honest opinion/recipe development
Yesterday I turned 39 years young. As I look forward and think about turning 40 I really want to focus on my health, happiness, and feeling great.
I am working to integrate more fruits and veggies in our diet and spend more time cooking at home. One of the things I have been excited to start making is smoothies. They always taste so good and are crazy easy to make.
Today I am kicking off my new year with this delicious Peanut Butter Banana Smoothie! HELLO YUM!
So easy to make! You probably already have all of the ingredients in your house right now! The only item I wasn’t sure we had was ice and well that is not hard to make happen thankfully.
Peanut Butter Banana Smoothie
Makes 1 drink
1 Dole banana, cut into chunks
1 cup milk
1/4 cup peanut butter
1 cup ice cubes
1. Blend ingredients together until smooth
Seriously how easy is that! This recipe can easily be doubled if you want to share it with a friend or loved one.
This summer Dole is challenging each of us to Get up and Grow!
Dole is bringing this challenge to 44 cities around North America including Spokane this week! During the challenge, you have the opportunity to make your own smoothie, take the Dole Healthy Eating Pledge, and try sample recipes.
By taking the Get up and Grow Challenge you can enter the Pledge Rewards Program. The rewards program gives you the chance to receive weekly rewards throughout the summer including Free Dole fresh fruits and vegetables. HELLO YUM!
Plus one rewards member will win an all expense paid wellness getaway to the California Health and Longevity Institute at the Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village. I have stayed at this Four Seasons and it is absolutely gorgeous!
