These pretzel marshmallow bones are so fun for Halloween parties. They take minutes to prepare and taste great.

You can even let the kids help with getting the skeleton bones ready! I love that you can make a plate full or giant platter of these in minutes.

No need to heat up the oven for this quick and easy Halloween Treat Recipe! You just need the microwave and a few supplies.

Are you throwing a Halloween Party this year? After a few years having quiet holidays we are so excited to go all out this year.

    Ingredients

This is a quick overview of the simple ingredients that you'll need to make epic Pretzel Bones! Specific measurements and step-by-step instructions are included in the printable recipe card at the bottom of the post.

    • White Chocolate Almond Bark
    • Pretzel Sticks
    • Mini Marshmallows

Almond Bark/Candy Melts - You can use white candy melts, almond bark, vanilla candy melt. They melt perfectly and harden quickly.

    Equipment Needed

Large Mixing Bowl - Make sure to use a bowl that is deep enough that you can easily dip the Chocolate Pretzel Bones and not get chocolate all over your hand.

    Fork or Candy Dipperย

Baking Sheets - We are huge fans of these baking sheets with sides. You don't have to worry; you will move the Pretzel Bones and have them slide right off.

Parchment Paper -ย  I love that I can use parchment paper to help make clean-up a breeze.

    How to make Pretzel Bones

I've included complete instructions in the printable recipe card at the bottom of the post, but here's a quick version.

Step 1 - Gather supplies, line a baking sheet with parchment paper

pretzel sticks and mini marshmallows in bowls next to pretzel bones

Step 2 - Add mini marshmallows to the end of a pretzel stick.

Step 3 - Melt candy melts in the microwave in 30 second intervals, making sure to stir after every interval. Make sure to use a microwave-safe bowl.

Step 4 - Carefully dip the pretzels and marshmallows into the candy melts until fully coated.

Drip off excess chocolate and place on the parchment prepared sheet pan tray to set.

    Recipe Tips

To add more texture to the Pretzel Bones you can drizzle additional chocolate melts over the bone portion.

You can cut off excess chocolate around the marshmallows with a sharp knife.

This recipe could easily be adapted to make large skeleton pretzel bones by using pretzel rods and full size marshmallows or 2 mini marshmallows stuck to the end.

We do not set these in the refrigerator to set. They set great just sitting on the counter for a few minutes.

For thicker skeleton pretzel bones you can double dip the bones after the 1st dipping is set.

While you have the candy melts already melted we suggest making some Mummy Twinkies, Mummy Nutter Butters, Mummy Doughnuts, or Mummy Rice Krispie Treats. This is a fun way to use any extra white candy melt you have in the bowl.

Printable instructions with nutrition information is available lower in the post.
