Woo Woo Drink Recipe

This Woo Woo Cocktail Recipe is super easy to make with vodka, peach schnapps, and cranberry juice. The Woo Woo Cocktail is a classic that everyone loves.

I love that you can make this great cocktail by the glass, pitcher or in a punch bowl. It is a really easy recipe to adapt from single size to party size.

This is a great classic vodka cocktail for parties or when you want to relax with a good drink. You don't need to use fancy vodka since it is mixed with peach schnapps and cranberry juice.

Similar to the Fuzzy Navel which is made with Peach Schnapps and Orange Juice instead of cranberry juice.

This easy three ingredient cocktail can be served as a fruity sweet drink, as a shot, or as a fruity punch. There is no Woo-Woo Stuff happening with this easy vodka cocktail.

You don't have to be a bartender to make amazing cocktails for friends and family. We are excited to share this Woo Woo Cocktail and so many more easy cocktail recipes.

The Woo Woo Drink hit the bar scene most likely in the late 70's when Peach Schnapps cocktails were the craze!

Peach Schnapps added a new flavor element to many cranberry juice cocktails and vodka cocktails.

Vodka - You can use your favorite vodka for this recipe. It does not need to be super fancy since it is being mixed with juice and peach schnapps.

Equipment Needed

Highball Glass - This is the glass shown in the post. I love how sturdy they are and how easy they are to pour into.

Cocktail Shaker - You want to use a cocktail shaker that is comfortable to hold and you can easily pour from.

Ice Cube maker - This ice cubes maker produces the most amazing cubes of ice perfect for cocktails. It easily fits in the freezer and you can make up to 3 trays of round ball ice at a time.

How to make a Woo Woo Cocktail

I've included complete instructions in the printable recipe card at the bottom of the post but here's a quick version.

Pour Cranberry Juice, Vodka, and Peach Liqueur in a Cocktail Shaker filled with ice

Shake ingredients together until chilled

Strain into a Highball Glass or Cocktail Glass.

Recipe Tips

This cocktail can be adapted easily to be served in a punch bowl or as a shot.

If you are making this into a shot you will decrease the amount of cranberry juice compared to vodka and peach schnapps. This does make the drink stronger!

To make this cocktail bubbly you can add in seltzer, club soda, ginger ale, or sparkling wine.

To change it up a bit more you can switch to flavored vodka. Any fruit vodka will taste great but you can also try it with vanilla vodka.

If you make this Woo Woo Recipe into a punch you can jazz it up by floating fruit in the punch bowl. Everything from watermelon to berries will taste great.

You can squeeze a bit of lime juice into the drink for more flavor.

Alcohol Content - 14 percent ABV, 28 proof on average.

Recipe Variations

Bubbles - Dilute the sweetness of this easy cocktail recipe by adding in a bit of seltzer, club soda, or ginger ale.

Fancy - Add in a bit of sparkling wine

Flavored Vodka - Change up the flavor by using a fun flavored vodka. Try using strawberry, cucumber, vanilla, watermelon, or whipped cream vodka for a fun flavor change.

Fruit - Add in floating berries, sugared cranberries, or watermelon. Squeeze in a bit of citrus fruit to brighten this drink. Add in flavored fruit syrups or fruit juices to change up the flavour.

While the original Woo Woo Drink is made with cranberry juice we have seen multiple variations made with pomegranate juice.

Sweeter - To make this cocktail sweeter you can add in simple syrup or cranberry simple syrup.

Party Punch - Depending on if you are serving the Woo Woo Punch in a pitcher or punch bowl you will want to incrementally in crease the ingredients. The recipe card below can be changed to additional servings to fit your pitcher or punch bowl.
