You can find great cute printable labels onย Amazon. I love designing fun labels when I give this great drink as a gift.
We store the moonshine in mason jars. This is an easy way to portion it out and make sure the lids are tight so the liquid doesn't spill.
I like to put a fresh cinnamon stick in the mason jars before adding the moonshine and letting it sit for a few weeks. The added cinnamon taste is amazing.
Please make sure to let this recipe sit for a bit. You want the flavors to fully blend together!

I made this and didnt have 1 liter of everclear so I did math and figured if I did 3/4 th of cider with the amount of ever clear it would be fine mine is very strong would it ruin it if I cooked more cider and added it to it?

Debbie, It really depends on how much cinnamon flavor you want. I tend to do half with and half without.

I made it on the stove before. I also used fireball to give it the cinnamon taste. OH IT's soo good. I see there is a cinarator on the market. It's around the same proof as the ever clear. I may try that. It's cheaper.

I made some last year and it's still good. If anything, the flavor is even more mellow. The Everclear gives it a very long shelf life.

Is it that time of the year already? The moonshine does sound very tempting, especially if it tastes like a pie

I've only had flavored moonshine once, and it was some awful stuff that had a lot of sweeteners added to it. Yours sounds much more simple and much more delicious. Cute labels too!
