Pineapple Upside Down Cake Shot

I love a fruity drink! Sign me up to taste test anything tropical or fruit-flavored. A lot of times when we go to a tropical beach bar I am the customer that asks the bartender to surprise me with their favorite fruity drink.

So it will not come as a surprise that I love this sweet fruity shot that takes a minute to prepare in a cocktail shaker with ice. Literally maybe a minute or 2 by the time you grab all the ingredients.

This is the perfect pink cocktail shot for girls' night in, Valentine's day, or a summer party. So quick and easy to prepare.

The layered effect in this cocktail shot occurs because the grenadine is heavier than the vodka and will sink to the bottom. You can serve this sweet pink drink with the layers or mix it together into one color it is really up to you.

We love to add layers since it makes it look cool. You can see in the pic above the difference in leaving the layers and mixing the shot together. Both taste amazing it is really up to you how you want them to look.
