White Chocolate Candy Cane Cookies

Day 14 of our 25 days of holiday cookies and treats and I think this recipe may be the most holiday-ish of them all. Not sure if holiday-ish is a word but it sounds good right? OK, back to the cookies....drum roll, please.......

White Chocolate Candy Cane Cookies!!!!!

Yep! White chocolate and candy canes all mixed up in a cookies = pure holiday bliss!

Ingredients

  • White chocolate baking squares with cocoa butter
  • Butter
  • Sugar
  • Baking powder
  • Salt
  • Eggs
  • Vanilla
  • All-purpose flour
  • Peppermint candy canes

White Chocolate Candy Cane Cookies

Easy to make White Chocolate Candy Cane Cookies Recipe that is great for the Christmas holidays!

Ingredients

  • 8 oz white chocolate baking squares with cocoa butter
  • ½ cup Butter softened
  • 1 cup White Sugar
  • 1 Teaspoon Baking Powder
  • ½ Teaspoon Salt
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 2 ¾ cup All Purpose Flour
  • ⅔ cup peppermint candy canes finely crushed
US Customary - Metric

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees, line cookies sheets with parchment paper
  • Chop 4 ounces of white chocolate, set aside
  • In a small saucepan cook and stir the remaining 4 ounces of white chocolate over low heat until melted. set aside to cool
  • Beat butter with an electric mixer for 30 seconds, add sugar, baking powder and salt. Beat until combined
  • Beat in eggs and vanilla
  • Beat in melted white chocolate
  • Beat in as much flour as you can, stir in remaining flour if needed
  • Stir in chopped white chocolate and candy cane pieces
  • Drop by spoonful on prepared baking sheets, bake for 8 to 10 minutes until lightly brown
