Chocolate Peanut Butter Brownies are amazing! These brownies will melt in your mouth and fulfill any sweet craving you have been having. Our neighbor came over and told me that she was having a huge craving for chocolate peanut butter brownies and could I make them for her. We had so much fun in the kitchen whipping up these brownies. I do have to say the house smelled amazing as the Chocolate Peanut Butter Brownies were baking. I asked if she also wanted Chocolate Peanut Butter No Bake Cookies but the brownies were more than enough for her.
Chocolate Peanut Butter Brownies
1 box Brownie mix and ingredients
1/3 cup butter, softened
1/3 cup creamy peanut butter
1 1/3 cup powdered sugar
1 1/2 tsp milk
3/4 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
3 tablespoons butter
1/2 cup peanut butter chips
1 cup Reese’s mini’s chopped
Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees
Make brownies as directed on the box, cool for at least 1 hour. I waited until the bottom of the brownies were cool to the touch
In your stand Mixer add together 1/3 cup butter, peanut butter, powdered sugar, milk and beat until smooth
Spread this mixture over the top of your brownies ( I fully suggest licking the spatula when you are done it is that good)
In a microwave safe bowl combine chocolate chips and 3 tablespoons butter
microwave in 30 second intervals until the chocolate chips and butter are smooth, it took about 1.5 minutes for me
cool the chocolate chip mixture for 10 minutes
spread mixture over the peanut butter topping
sprinkle the top with peanut butter chips and Reese’s chunks, press lightly to set
(I combined the peanut butter chips and Reese’s chunks in a bowl and mixed them before putting them on the brownie so they would spread out evenly)
Refrigerate for as long as you can wait until the mixture is set.
I have to say 1 piece of this Chocolate Peanut Butter Brownie and my sweet tooth was good for the rest of the night. Oh my goodness this is so sinfully good. It is the perfect combination of peanut butter and chocolate.
