We have been in Alaska this past week on the Carnival Legend and I now feel like I am ready for fall weather. It is time for sweaters, cute boots, and curling up with a fire. I can't wait to see the leaves changing. Now if only we could put off the snow that follows after the pumpkin spice everything.

Crock Pot Pumpkin Liqueur Recipe
Ingredients to make Pumpkin Liqueur
- Water
- Brown Sugar
- Pumpkin puree
- Cinnamon sticks
- Pumpkin Pie Spice
- Rum
Recipe Tips
Store in an airtight container.
The mixture will keep for up to 2 weeks refrigerated.

Crock Pot Pumpkin Liqueur Recipe
Ingredients
- 2 C Water
- 1 C Brown Sugar
- 1 can Pumpkin puree
- 3 Cinnamon sticks
- 1 Tbsp. Pumpkin Pie spice
- 2 C Rum
Instructions
- Put all ingredients except for the rum into the slow cooker. Turn on low and let cook for approximately 4 hours.
- Let cool and line a sieve with a coffee filter or fine cheesecloth
- Ladle the liquid and strain it into a bowl. Discard contents of the filter.
- Pour two cups of rum into the bowl and mix well.
- Transfer to an airtight container.

Do you happen to have an alcohol free version of this recipe? It sounds wonderful but I don't drink alcohol. I thought maybe you could just use water and add a couple tsp. of rum extract? thanks, Susan
