We had so much fun in the kitchen whipping up these brownies. I do have to say the house smelled amazing as the Chocolate Peanut Butter Brownies were baking.  I asked if she also wanted Chocolate Peanut Butter No Bake Cookies but the brownies were more than enough for her.

    Ingredients

    • Brownie mix and ingredients
    • butter
    • creamy peanut butter
    • powdered sugar
    • milk
    • semi-sweet chocolate chips
    • butter
    • peanut butter chips
    • Reese's mini's chopped

    Directions
    Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees

Make brownies as directed on the box, cool for at least 1 hour. I waited until the bottom of the brownies were cool to the touch

In your Stand Mixer add together ⅓ cup butter, peanut butter, powdered sugar, milk and beat until smooth

Spread this mixture over the top of your brownies ( I fully suggest licking the spatula when you are done it is that good)

In a microwave-safe bowl combine chocolate chips and 3 tablespoons butter

microwave in 30-second intervals until the chocolate chips and butter are smooth, it took about 1.5 minutes for me

cool the chocolate chip mixture for 10 minutes

spread mixture over the peanut butter topping

Sprinkle the top with peanut butter chips and Reese's chunks, press lightly to set (I combined the peanut butter chips and Reese's chunks in a bowl and mixed them before putting them on the brownie so they would spread out evenly)

Refrigerate for as long as you can wait until the mixture is set.

    Enjoy!

I have to say 1 piece of this Chocolate Peanut Butter Brownie and my sweet tooth was good for the rest of the night.

Oh my goodness this is so sinfully good. It is the perfect combination of peanut butter and chocolate.

Are the brownies supposed to be refrigerated the whole time or just until they are set?

        Hi Kaylea,
I haven't tried freezing these. I would think if you wrapped them in protective freezer paper they should be ok. I am not 100% sure though how they will be when you defrost them.
