Delicious Crockpot Turkey Chili made with leftover turkey, diced tomatoes, onions, celery and more! This is an easy slow cooker chili recipe that takes minutes to put together.

Crockpot Turkey Chili

There is nothing better than walking into the house and smelling Crockpot Turkey Chili cooking after a long day's work! You get the satisfaction of knowing that dinner is ready for you and all you have to do is serve it to your family!


How can you go wrong with Turkey Chili Crockpot bliss! I know it won't surprise you that I am all in for any recipe I can dump in the slow cooker.

I am surprised at times when I realize that we have shared more than 275 Crockpot Recipes in the past few years! It is no wonder my counter always has at least one crockpot cooking.

One of my favorite things to make is comfort food recipes! This slow cooker turkey chili recipe definitely falls into the comfort food category!

While I love a ground beef chili there is something fun about switching it up and making a healthy turkey chili instead. What are your favorite great recipes for great chili?

I made this with leftover Crockpot Turkey and it worked out great.

I am thinking about adding black beans to this recipe when I make it again. I have been on a bean kick lately. Every recipe is getting beans added to it just to see how it goes. I even made Black Bean Brownies to see if we would love them.

Crockpot Turkey Chili 

Ingredients to make Turkey Chili

  • Red kidney beans
  • Diced tomatoes
  • Turkey meat
  • Chili beans
  • Tomato sauce
  • Onion
  • Celery
  • Chili powder
  • Worcestershire sauce
  • Ground cumin
  • Red pepper Flakes
  • Salt

Top with shredded cheddar cheese, sour cream or your favorite toppings. Avocados are also great on top of this slow cooker turkey chili!

If you want to reduce the spiciness of this chili you can half the chili powder, cumin so it isn't as strong.

You can add in Garlic Powder if you want to add in a bit. Salt and pepper to taste.

Equipment Needed

Slow Cooker - We use either a Programmable Slow Cooker for most of our slow cooker recipes. I like that after the set time the crockpot automatically changes to warm. This is great if you have to work during the day or don't want to stress about over cooking a recipe.

Soup Bowls  - We love a great soup bowl.

Ingredients

  • 30 oz red kidney beans drained and rinsed
  • 28 oz Diced Tomatoes drained
  • 2 cups turkey cubed
  • 1 can Chili beans
  • 15 oz Tomato Sauce
  • 1 cup Onion chopped
  • 1 cup Celery chopped
  • 3 Tablespoon Chili Powder
  • 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
  • 4 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 2 teaspoon Red Pepper chili flakes
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • Top with shredded cheddar cheese
US Customary - Metric

Instructions

  • Combine all ingredients in your crock pot, cover and cook on low for 7 hours
  • Top with shredded cheddar cheese
