This easy Hot Cocoa Dip recipe is my go to afternoon snack when I need a no bake dessert dip.
- Dry Hot Chocolate Mix
- Cool Whip Whipped Topping
- Marshmallow Fluff
Garnish - a cup of Mini Marshmallows or crushed candy canes
Favorite Dippers - Graham Crackers, animal crackers, a spoon, candy canes, vanilla wafers, strawberries, Oreos, pretzels, large marshmallows, apples, fresh fruit, or chocolate chip cookies.
Hot Chocolate Mix - you can use your favorite dry hot cocoa mix! Swiss Miss, Ghirardelli, Land o Lakes, or any brand you love.
Optional - To make this a creamier dessert dip you can add in a brick of cream cheese which will make this a hot cocoa cheesecake dip. You can also just use cream cheese is you don't have any marshmallow fluff or can't find it in your local store.
Add peppermint extract to make a Peppermint Hot Cocoa Dip.
Large Mixing Bowl - We are big fans of this glass batter bowl that has a handle. It makes it easy to mix ingredients and keeps the mixing bowl steady on the counter.
How to make Hot Chocolate Dip
Step 1 - Add Cool Whip whipped topping, Marshmallow Fluff, and dry hot chocolate mix to a large mixing bowl.
Step 2 - Using a hand mixer mix all three ingredients together until they are creamy and mixed together.
Step 3 - Transfer to a serving bowl and top with mini marshmallows.
Serve with graham crackers, animal crackers, or any sweet cookie you love.

You can add cinnamon to give it a Mexican Hot Chocolate flavor.
Sprinkle extra hot chocolate mix or chocolate shavings over the top for a garnish.
