Oreo Fluff Recipe

Fair warning I am on a roll making Oreo Recipes. A couple of weeks ago I made Oreo Rice Krispie Treats and it reminded me how much I love baking and working with Oreos in the kitchen. lol.

I recently made an Oreo Poke Cake that was delicious! I seriously can't stop baking with Oreos!

It has also been way too long since I made a sweet dip recipe. I went on a spree of appetizer dips for a while but realized that I was missing sweet dessert dips.

If you love Oreos and who doesn't you are going to LOVE this no-bake dessert. So dang easy to make and so dang delicious.

Ingredients

  • Oreo Cookies
  • Instant Vanilla Pudding
  • Cream Cheese
  • Milk
  • Cool Whip
  • Mini Marshmallows

Oreo Cookies - You can use any variety of Oreos that makes you happy. We use regular or double stuff depending on what we have available in the pantry.

Instant Pudding - You can use vanilla, cheesecake, chocolate, white chocolate, or any flavor that sounds good. This Oreo Fluff Recipe can be made with sugar-free pudding to save calories.

Cool Whip - You can use regular, fat-free, or sugar-free whipped topping. The most important thing is to make sure you thaw the Cool Whip overnight before making this recipe.

Mini marshmallows - If you are not a marshmallow person don't worry you can leave them out of the oreo pudding mixture.

Cream Cheese - I like how creamy the cream cheese makes this side dish. If you want to cut calories or don't like cream cheese you can leave it out.

Equipment Needed

Large Mixing Bowl

Hand Mixer/Stand Mixer - Using a mixer will help mix the pudding mix and cream cheese together and get it smooth.

Kitchenaid Mixer - I find that the Kitchenaid makes it a lot easier to make this recipe compared to a hand mixer but both work.

Serving Bowl

Freezer Bag/Rolling Pin - This is my favorite way to get crushed Oreos. You can use a food processor if you want fine pieces in your fluff salad. I like to get different sizes of Oreo chunks for this dessert salad.

Recipe Tips

If you are making this for a summer barbecue, big event, or a few people I highly suggest doubling this recipe. It is always a huge hit and disappears faster than you think it will. The recipe makes a ton but it still seems to disappear so quickly when we serve it at a barbecue or party. If you are making this for your family the original recipe should work perfectly.

I use a kitchenaid stand mixer to get the pudding mixture whipped together easily. You can use a hand mixer but it may take a bit to get the mixture to thicken.

Plan at least an hour or longer for this Oreo Dessert Salad to chill in the refrigerator. The longer it chills the better the flavors meld together.

Keep some Oreo Crumbs to the side to add to the top of this Oreo Fluff Salad when you are ready to serve it.

Store this easy Oreo Fluff in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

You can easily change this up for St. Patrick's day by adding in a couple of drops of green food coloring while mixing the pudding mix and milk. To make it even more fun try it with Mint Oreos.

This mix can be poured into an Oreo crust or graham cracker crust to make an Oreo Fluff Pie.

How to eat Oreo Fluff Salad

We like to dip strawberries, Oreos, Graham Crackers into this sweet dip but I will admit that we have eaten it with just a spoon many times. lol
