Ingredient
- Oreo Cookies
- White Chocolate Chips/Discs
This recipe can be made with white chocolate chips, candy coatings, or vanilla bark, or change it up and make it with a milk chocolate base for even more chocolate flavor.
Equipment
Parchment Paper - I love that I can use parchment paper to help make it easier to remove the Oreo White Chocolate Bark. They also make clean-up a breeze. If you are not using parchment paper you will want to spray non-stick cooking spray on your baking sheet to help the cookies not stick.
Baking Sheets - We are huge fans of these baking sheets with sides. You don't have to worry; you will remove the cookies from the oven and have them slide right off.
Spatula
Large Mixing Bowl - We are big fans of this glass batter bowl that has a handle. It makes it easy to mix ingredients and keeps the mixing bowl steady on the counter.
How to make Oreo Bark
Line baking sheet with parchment paper
Step 1
Break Oreos into pieces and remove as many crumbs as possible. Tap them lightly to remove any extra crumbs. This helps keep the white chocolate clean.
Step 2
Add white chocolate chips/discs or a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring after every interval until melted.
Make sure to try and melt the chocolate evenly. We like to use the microwave because it is quick and easy and cuts down on the total time needed for this recipe.
You can also use a double boiler if you want to melt the chocolate that way.
Step 3
Gently fold Oreo crumbs into the melted chocolate until evenly spread. Pour onto a parchment paper-lined baking pan.
Use a spatula to spread the mixture into an even layer.
For more Oreos on top sprinkle pieces over the top of the melted chocolate and press them in.
Allow to cool and solidify, break into chunks before serving. You can also cut the bark with a sharp knife if you want distinct edges.
Recipe Tips
Store in an airtight container. If you want to store it longer you can keep it in the refrigerator in an airtight sealable container.
