We are huge fans of the Alchemy Bar on Carnival Cruise ships. There is just something so fun about relaxing with an epic cocktail and meeting people from around the world.

On our last cruise, we visited the Alchemy Bar almost every night for at least one cocktail. It was fun hearing how other guests spent their day and what they were excited to do on the ship.

We have found that the Alchemy Bar gets busier as the week goes on and guests realize just how good the bartenders are.

During our cruise on the Carnival Miracle to Alaska this summer we signed up for the Carnival Cheers Program. This was our first time trying the program and we really enjoyed it.

I really wanted to try all of the Alchemy Bar cocktails along with a few other drinks on board that we had never tried before. It was great not having to stress about what our final bill would be at the end of the week.

This Revved Up Mojito Martini is a great twist on a classic mojito and martini.

    Ingredients

This is a quick overview of the simple ingredients that you'll need to make an epic Mojito Martini Drink! Specific measurements and step-by-step instructions are included in the printable recipe card at the bottom of the post.

    • Bombay Sapphire Gin
    • Fresh Lime Juice
    • Simple Syrup
    • Dry vermouth
    • Mint Leaves

    Equipment needed

Cocktail shaker and strainerย - You want to make sure you use a cocktail shaker you can comfortably hold and shake. Also known as a mixing tin

Stemless martini glassย - We like to serve this epic Peach Cosmo in a stemless chilled martini glass similar to the Alchemy Bar but you can also serve it in a regular martini glass or cocktail glass.

How to make a Mojito Martini

I've included complete instructions in the printable recipe card at the bottom of the post, but here's a quick version.

Muddle mint leaves in the bottom of the cocktail shaker.

Combine all the liquid ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice.

Shake and strain into a stemless martini glass.

    Garnish with a mint sprig

    Preparation and Storage

Make Ahead โ€“ This recipe can be made ahead of time and stored in the fridge. Make sure there are no large mint pieces in the cocktail or the flavor will be really strong. Stir before serving.

Storage โ€“ If you have leftovers they can be stored in the fridge in an airtight container.

    Recipe Variations

Substitutions - Add a bit of soda water for bubbles.

Garnish with a sugar rim for additional sweetness.

Carnival's version of this cocktail uses gin. Classic Mojito Martinis are made with citrus vodka, white rum/light rum, lemon juice, sugar syrup, and mint sprigs.

Add a splash of Grand Marnier to add a bit of orange citrus flavor.

Vegetarian Option - This recipe is vegetarian.

Vegan Option โ€“ This recipe is vegan.

Gluten Free - This recipe is Gluten-Free

Alcohol Free Option โ€“ To make a mocktail non-alcoholic version of this cocktail we suggest using NA Zero Proof Gin.

Smaller Serving Size โ€“This recipe currently makes one cocktail. You can change the serving size on the recipe card below to adjust the size.

Larger Group/More servings โ€“ This recipe can be made in a pitcher for a larger group. Just make sure you don't add ice cubes until right before serving.

    Recipe Tips

Chill the martini glass for the best experience. You can place the martini glass in the freezer for 15-20 minutes or pour chilled water and ice into it and let it sit for 5 minutes.

Printable recipe card instructions are below.
