Copy Cat Arby's Jamocha Shake Recipe

I love making Copy Cat Recipes! It is so much fun being able to enjoy our favorite restaurant treats at home. John absolutely loved this Copy Cat Arby's Jamocha Shake.

He has been complaining that he is not drinking as much coffee because it is so dang hot and he keeps getting headaches. After drinking this Copy Cat Arbys Jamocha Shake Recipe he told me he would be happy to get his coffee any day from one of these.

This recipe is SO EASY to make! It only takes a few minutes and you have a fantastic Copy Cat Arby's Jamocha Shake to enjoy!

The perfect chocolate-y coffee-y treat!

If you are looking for a non-coffee copy cat recipe check out this recipe for a copy cat Orange Julius (YUM-OH) or this Copy Cat Wendy's Frosty is always great on a hot day! Oh have you seen this Copy Cat Sonic Peanut Butter Shake...hello yum!

What are your favorite ways to cool down on a hot summer day? We are all in for ice cream, shakes, or any frozen beverage. I love that this recipe is so dang easy to make and I can whip it up in a few seconds.

No stressing just relaxing with this cool treat that tastes so good and has a nice hit of coffee that is so needed!

Plus I don't have to drive anywhere which is a bonus! I can just sit out and relax with an iced coffee shake and not have to deal with traffic or craziness.

Do you feel like people drive just a tad bit crazier in the summer? It feels like everyone is in a crazy hurry to get places and driving becomes a video game challenge to get to the grocery store.

Jamocha Shake Ingredients

This is a quick overview of the simple ingredients that you'll need to make an epic Jamocha Shake! Specific measurements and step by step instructions are included in the printable recipe card at the bottom of the post.

  • Cold coffee
  • Low-fat milk
  • Sugar
  • Vanilla Ice Cream
  • Chocolate syrup

Reader tip - Add cold coffee to an ice cube tray and freeze it before adding the coffee ice cubes to the shake.

Equipment Needed

Blender - We are big fans of the Ninja Blender and how well it makes frozen drinks.

Soda fountain-type glasses - I love the look of these soda fountain glasses. They just make the milkshake look even more decadent.

Paper milkshake straws - if you are serving this at a party or want to make them look like you are at an ice cream counter I love these paper milkshake straws.

How do you make an Arby's Jamocha Shake?

I've included complete instructions in the printable recipe card at the bottom of the post but here's a quick version.

Combine coffee, milk, sugar and blend in the blender for 15 seconds at medium speed

Add in ice cream, chocolate syrup and blend until creamy

Add a drizzle of chocolate syrup to your glass before pouring the Jamocha Shake in.

Preparation and Storage

Make Ahead – We do not suggest making these ahead of time. They taste best right out of the blender.

Storage – If you have any leftovers they can be stored in an airtight container in the freezer.

Recipe Variations

Substitutions - We use whatever milk we have in the fridge. Feel free to use whole milk for a thicker shake.

Vegetarian Option - This recipe is vegetarian

Vegan Option – Substitute dairy-free ice cream, chocolate syrup, and plant based milk.

Smaller Serving Size –This recipe makes 2 servings currently. You can change the serving size in the recipe card below to a smaller size.

Larger Group/More servings –This recipe can easily be doubled just make sure you have space in the blender.

Do Jamocha Shakes have caffeine?

Yes, but it is a fairly low level of caffeine. Arby's uses an instant coffee powder to make their Jamocha syrup.
