We love going out to dinner at Texas Roadhouse. My favorite part of the meal is the warm rolls and butter. The Texas Roadhouse butter is just so good! I decided to try and make a copy cat Texas Roadhouse butter since the closest restaurant is 45 minutes from us. This butter is amazing! I am going to fully admit that not long after the picture above was taken the rolls were gone. This recipe is super easy to make and such a wonderful treat!

 Copy  Cat Texas Roadhouse Butter

Ingredients
1 stick unsalted butter – room temperature
1/4 cup powdered sugar
1 tbsp honey, add more to taste
1 tsp cinnamon, add more to taste

I started making this in a bowl with a spatula and hand mixing the ingredients. I quickly poured everything into our KitchenAid Mixer. The KitchenAid mixer made quick work of mixing everything together. I started with the tablespoon of honey and teaspoon of cinnamon and added a bit more to taste. I really like the flavor of cinnamon so I added more than the recipe asked for.

  3. I tried to make a copy of cinnamon butter and I think my mistake was using brown sugar. I never thought about using powdered sugar. I am going to have to try this.

  5. [...] I tried another pin for this 2 months ago and it was really gross. I promised to find another and now I can proudly say success is mine! It turns out, the other recipe, had the right ingredients, but the proportions were off. You take 1 stick of butter, 1/4 cup powdered sugar, 1 tbsp. honey and 1 tsp. cinnamon, adding more honey and cinnamon to taste. You then proceed to mix them together until your arm feels like it will fall off! I didn’t have any rolls on hand, or the ambition to make any, but this is amazing on bread or toast. I’ve been having this as breakfast for the last few days. Everyone who goes to Texas Roadhouse always has great things to say about the butter there, and who can blame them? It’s amazing! I can’t taste the difference and you won’t be able to either. Enjoy! Original pin is http://www.tammileetips.com/2013/01/copy-cat-texas-roadhouse-butter/ [...]
