Easy Cherry Cheesecake Dip Recipe is the perfect sweet dessert dip for parties. So easy to make with sweetened cream cheese and epic cherry pie filling.
Cherry Cheesecake Dip
My Mother in Law LOVES cheesecake! It is her go-to dessert for every occasion. I knew she would love this sweet dip.
We made it for Christmas Eve dinner and surprised her with a huge bowl of it just for her.
She loves cheesecake so much that we find a different cheesecake to mail to her for every birthday and holiday.
I had to laugh when she called us on Christmas and said that family had come over and were eating the dip with a spoon.
They didn't see the graham crackers and just loaded big scoops of the cherry cheesecake dip up on plates and enjoyed it with a spoon.
Ingredients
- Cream Cheese
- Sweetened Condensed Milk
- Cool Whip Whipped Topping
- Cherry Pie Filling
Dippers - Serve with Graham Crackers, vanilla wafers, cookies, pretzels, apple slices
Cream Cheese - Make sure to set the cream cheese out for a couple of hours so it can reach room temperature and be really soft. This will make it a lot easier to make this dessert dip.
Cool Whip - You can use any type of Cool Whip you have available. Check out all of our Cool Whip Recipes
Cherry Pie Filling - This recipe can easily be adapted to use strawberry pie filling, blueberry pie filling, or your favorite pie flavor.
Optional Topping - Sprinkle graham cracker crumbs around the edges.
Equipment Needed
Hand Mixer - We used a hand mixer and it worked great. A stand mixer would also work just make sure to use a spatula to scrape the sides of the bowl.
Large Mixing Bowl - We are big fans of this glass batter bowl that has a handle. It makes it easy to mix ingredients and keeps the mixing bowl steady on the counter.

How to make Cherry Cheesecake Dip
Step 1 - Add softened cream cheese and sweetened condensed milk to a large bowl. Use a hand mixer in the bowl beat the cream cheese and sweetened condensed milk together until they are light and fluffy. The cheesecake mixture should be light and airy.
Step 2 - Add in Cool whip and gently fold in the whipped topping until evenly combined.
Step 3 - Spread in your baking dish that is large. When you spread the cream cheese mixture try to make it higher on the sides and leave an area or the cherry pie filling in the middle.
Step 4 - Evenly spread the cherry pie filling in the serving dish. We like to leave some of the cream cheese mixture showing around the edges for a fun look.
Store in the fridge until ready to serve.
