    Day 3 - Mummy Twinkies

I love how easy it is to make these Mummy Oreo Pops. The total time is less than 10 minutes and you have a cute easy Halloween treat.

Vanilla candy coating, Oreos and Candy Eyes

    Ingredients

This is a quick overview of the simple ingredients that you'll need to make Oreo Mummy Cookies! Specific measurements and step-by-step instructions are included in the printable recipe card at the bottom of the post.

Oreo Cookies - We use double stuffed because they are amazing, but you can use any flavor of Oreo.

Candy Bark/White Chocolate Candy Melts/white chocolate chips

    Candy Eyes

    Equipment Needed

Large Mixing Bowl - We are big fans of this glass batter bowl that has a handle. It is deep enough that you can dip the Oreos in the white chocolate without getting it all over your hands.

Baking Sheet - We are huge fans of these baking sheets with sides. You don't have to worry; you will go to move the Oreos and they slide right off the side.

Drying Rack - We like to place the OREOs on a drying rack so the excess chocolate drips down before transferring them to parchment paper.

Parchment Paper -ย  I love that I can use parchment paper to help make it easier to remove the Oreo Mummies. They also make clean-up a breeze.

Optional - Cake Pops sticks; these work great if you want to set the Oreo Mummy Cookies in a container upright.

How to make Mummy Oreo Cookies

I've included complete instructions in the printable recipe card at the bottom of the post, but here's a quick version.

Oreo Cookies on a wire rack in a baking pan

Step 1 - Gather ingredients, spread Oreos evenly on your baking dish or drying rack.

Oreos with white icing spread across them for mummy stripes on a wire rack

Step 2 - Melt candy melts/white chocolate in a microwave safe bowl in 30 second intervals, make sure to stir after every interval.

Drizzle the melted chocolate in a zigzag pattern over the Oreo cookies to create the Mummy Bandages.

We use a spoon to drizzle the chocolate but you can easily use a piping bag if you want even layers of icing.

Step 3 - Place candy eyeballs onto the Oreos using the melted chocolate to hold them in place.

    Allow to set before serving.
