Red Snapper Shot
I love fun holiday cocktails! They are easy to make and look great when served at holiday parties.
This Red Snapper Shot is fruity and oh so delicious. I feel like I should probably mention that there is no fish or fish oil in this cocktail. I know the name is the same as a large red fish but trust me this is made with Canadian Whiskey, Amaretto, and cranberry juice.
Ingredients
- Crown Royal Canadian Whiskey
- Amaretto Liqueur
- Cranberry Juice
Equipment Needed
Ice cubes
How to make a Red Snapper Shot
Step 1 - Pour Crown Royal Canadian Whiskey into the cocktail shaker filled with ice.
Step 2 - Pour Amaretto Liqueur into cocktail shaker.
Step 3 - Add in cranberry juice to the cocktail shaker.
Shake until the drink is cold and mixed together.
Step 4 - Strain into 2 oz shot glasses. You should have enough to fill 2 shot glasses with this red snapper cocktail shot.
Recipe Tips
This recipe is for a cocktail shot not a Bloody Mary. I know that a Bloody Mary is called a red snapper in some areas but that is a whole different article.
If you love the flavor of this drink you can double the ingredients and make it a full cocktail instead of a shot.
If you are making this as a cocktail or in different size shot glasses the proportions are 1 part Canadian Whiskey, 1 Part Amaretto, 2 parts juice. We measured it out to 1 part = 1 fluid ounce
You can easily change the amount of each ingredient to suit your favorite flavors.
