This cocktail shot takes seconds to make and can be adapted depending on how many you are planning to serve.

This water moccasin shooter is similar to a Green Tea Shot but not the same cocktail. A Green Tea Shot is a mix of four ingredients including Jameson whiskey, peach schnapps, and sour mix with lemon-lime soda.

Another snake themed shot is the Snakebite Shot with Yukon Jack.

What is in a Water Moccasin Shot

    • Peach Schnapps
    • Crown Royal Canadian Whisky
    • Sweet and Sour Mix
    • Triple Sec

Whisky - Any brand of whiskey can be used for this recipe. Crown Royal Canadian Whiskey is the one you most likely had if you tried this shooter at a bar/restaurant.

    Equipment Needed

    2 oz shot glass

    Cocktail Shaker

How to Make a Water Moccasin Shot

Step 1 - Add the peach schnapps, Crown Royal, Sweet and Sour, and triple sec to a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake until chilled.

Step 2 - Strain into a 2oz shot glass and enjoy.

    Recipe Tips

If you are worried about the ice watering down your drink you can chill the ingredients and skip the ice.

This recipe can be served in two 2 oz shot glasses with a bit of space left or three 1 oz shot glasses to the top.

This drink can be poured over ice and served in a rocks glass. I will say I find it easier to drink as a shot but you can definitely enjoy it as a full cocktail. Add in a bit of pineapple juice to give this cocktail a fruity flavor.

There are multiple versions of the Water Moccasin Drink. Like many cocktails they tend to get multiple variations based on the part of the country it is made in, ingredients available, and bartenders preference.

This recipe is included in our funny drink names collection and epic Peach Schnapps Drinks.
