Cooking sausage in the air fryer is the perfect way to make crispy delicious breakfast sausage! I love that I can have the air fryer going while whipping up eggs, toast, and other breakfast favorites.
In less than 15 minutes you can have hot and oh so delicious breakfast sausage links on the table.
Life is so busy I love being able to use the air fryer to cut down on cooking time and cleaning time! Using the air fryer keeps all of the grease and cooking mess contained into one appliance. We have been reaching for our air fryer almost daily to make a little bit of everything.

Equipment Needed
Air Fryer - We suggest getting an air fryer that is bigger than you think you will need. We found once we started using the air fryer, we ended up using it for more meals and larger meals.
Kitchen Tongs - We highly suggest getting a good pair of kitchen tongs to remove items from the air fryer and save your hands from getting burned.
How to make Air Fryer Sausage Links
Step 1 - Place Sausage Links in the air fryer basket evenly spread out.
Cook in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Make sure the hot air can circulate around them.
We do not spray the air fryer basket with olive oil or any other oils. The grease from the sausage links keeps them from sticking to the air fryer basket.
Step 2 - Air fry at 390 degrees rotate sausage halfway through cook time. Flipping the sausage helps get the hot air around all sides and makess0 them perfectly cooked.
Step 3 - Carefully remove sausage with kitchen tongs and enjoy.
Recipe Tips
We do not preheat the air fryer for this recipe.
You can use any flavor breakfast sausage links.
Cook time will vary depending on the air fryer used. Make sure to check the sausage links as they cook.
The internal temperature of sausage links should be 160 degrees.
If you are using frozen sausage you will need to add a few minutes to the cooking time.
If you are cooking multiple batches the cooking time will be less for each subsequent batch as the air fryer heats up.
