Making recipes at home is a great way to get the drink that you want without spending a ton of money out.
We are really focused this year on making sure we are not spending a ton of money eating out. It is so easy to end up with a $50 bill without even trying. I am excited to try new recipes and cook at home instead of eating out all the time.
Ingredients
- Sprite
- Lime
- Grenadine
You can use either grenadine or the maraschino cherry juice from a jar of cherries.
I normally start with 2 tablespoons of juice and then add in more depending on how cherry-flavored I want it.
Equipment needed
There really isn't any special equipment needed for this drink.
You can add some cute paper straws for a fun touch especially if you are serving this at a birthday party or event.
Sonic Diet Cherry Limeade
If you want to cut back on the calories in the Cherry Limeade Sonic Drink you can make this recipe with Sprite Zero.
This will cut back a ton of calories from the regular Sprite.

i think this is called a shirley temple, with a lime twist. you could use cola and call it a roy rogers. would maybe be good to add a bit of lime juice. i've had the cherry limeade and it definitely has lime juice in it.
