Nutty Irishman Drink

The Nutty Irishman Drink is made a variety of ways depending on how many ingredients you want to mix into it.

We like making a fun cocktail shooter but you can also make this drink with coffee, Irish Whiskey or even hot chocolate.

The main ingredients are hazelnut liqueur and Irish Cream. We tend to use Frangelico and Bailey's Irish Cream to make this cocktail recipe.

This layered cocktail shot is perfect for St. Patrick's Day or any day you want a fun layered cocktail that is super easy to make.

Ingredients

  • Frangelico
  • Baileys Irish Cream

Equipment Needed

2 oz Shot Glass

Bar Spoon

How to make a Nutty Irishman drink

Step 1 - Pour Frangelico into the bottom of the shot glass. Try to make sure it doesn't get on the sides of the glass when pouring.

Step 2 - Slowly pour Bailey's Irish Cream over the back of a bar spoon to create the distinct layers between the two flavors.

Recipe Tips

If the layers get mixed together don't worry the drink still tastes fantastic.

This drink can also be served over ice in a rocks glass if you want it chilled or you can place the Frangelico and Bailey's in the fridge to cool the down.

If you want to add another layer to this drink you can add some whipped cream to the top. Just make sure you leave space for it when you fill the shot glass.
