I am going to admit to making this No-Bake Peanut Butter Pie many times before I was happy with what to decorate it with.

We tried chocolate swirls on the top, cool-whip, and chocolate shavings which was amazing but didn't look as fun as I wanted it to look.

My husband John suggested Reese's Pieces and Peanut Butter Cups. I am pretty sure he was hoping there would be leftover Reese's Pieces he could steal. LOL

They were the perfect topper for this epic peanut butter pie recipe!

If you love peanut butter you are going to LOVE this peanut butter lover's pie! It is so good and packed with peanut butter flavor.

Print recipe is at the bottom of this post with full instructions.

    Ingredients

    • Creamy Peanut Butter
    • Powdered Sugar/Confectioners sugar
    • Cream Cheese
    • Cool Whip whipped topping
    • Graham Cracker Crust

Toppings - Chocolate syrup, whipped cream, peanut butter chips, Reese's Pieces, peanut butter cups, chocolate chips, peanuts, broken pretzel pieces,

Cream Cheese - Make sure to set the cream cheese out so it gets to room temperature and can be mixed smoothly with the peanut butter.

Pie Crust - You can use a store-bought or homemade graham cracker crust. We love changing it up and making this with an Oreo Crust. For even more peanut butter flavor you can use a Nutter Butter Crust.

    Equipment/Tools Needed

Large Mixing Bowl - We are big fans of this glass batter bowl that has a handle. It makes it easy to mix ingredients and keeps the mixing bowl steady on the counter.

Hand Mixer/Stand Mixer - You can mix this with either a hand mixer or your stand mixer.

    Recipe Tips

Plan time for this peanut butter pie to set in the refrigerator. The longer is rests in the refrigerator the firmer the pie will be.

If you want a fluffy pie you can set it out an hour before serving and let it come to room temperature.

We have only used creamy peanut butter to make the pie filling. I am not sure if crunchy peanut butter would work the same.

    Holiday Ideas

Halloween - Draw a spider web on the top of the peanut butter cream cheese filling with chocolate sauce. Add a fake spider or draw one on top to make it a spooky no bake pie.

Thanksgiving - Decorate with fall-colored M&M's or Reese's Pieces to make it fit the holiday.
