    Ingredients

Here is a quick overview of the simple ingredients needed to make an epic Angry Balls Drinkk! The printable recipe card at the bottom of the post includes specific measurements and step-by-step instructions.

    • Fireball Cinnamon Whisky
    • Angry Orchard Crisp Apple Ciderย

    Equipment Needed

    • Cocktail Jigger
    • Pint Glass: They make an epic Fireball Whisky Pint Glass perfect for this cocktail.

Shot Glass: If you want to keep the Fireball theme going, there is also a fun Fireball Shot Glass.

How to make Angry Balls Cocktail

I've included complete instructions in the printable recipe card at the bottom of the post, but here's a quick version.

This two-ingredient cocktail recipe is super easy!

Combine the Fireball Whiskey with the Angry Orchard hard cider in a pint glass, and enjoy!

    Preparation and Storage

Make Ahead: We donโ€™t recommend making this cinnamon-apple drink beforehand. Cider is a fermented beverage that, like soda, goes flat quickly once poured.

Recipe Variations + Tips for the Best Angry Balls Drink

    Substitutions:ย

You can use a different brand if you don't have Angry Orchard hard cider in your area. We have seen lots of locally made craft hard ciders that would be terrific in this drink!

Similarly, if you don't have Fireball, use Sinfire Cinnamon, Jack Daniels Tennessee Fire, Jim Beam Fire, or cinnamon schnapps.

This cocktail would taste delicious with a pear cider, making it a cinnamon-spiced pear cider cocktail. YUM!

Feel free to add ice to the glass if you don't have a frosted pint glass.

    Vegetarian + Vegan Option:

The Angry Balls Drink is vegetarian but not vegan, as Fireball Whisky uses animal-derived ingredients in the production process, and select Angry Orchard ciders contain honey.

Vegans can make this cocktail plant-based with a plant-based Fireball alternative and an Angry Orchard variety that doesnโ€™t contain honey.

    Gluten-Free:ย

Great news - Angry Orchard is gluten-free and even tests its equipment to ensure no cross-contamination during production!

Fireball is not gluten-free, so gluten-free drinkers should replace it with a gluten-free substitute to make it safe for a gluten-free diet.

Alcohol-Free Option: Swap Fireball and Angry Orchard Hard Apple Cider with NA alternatives to make alcohol-free Angry Balls Cocktails.

Smaller Serving Size: It's easy to turn the Angry Balls Drink into an Angry Balls Shot! Pour an ounce of Fireball into a shot glass and top it off with Angry Orchard.

    Make It Spicy:

You can change the amount of Fireball Whisky based on how strong you want this cocktail or how cinnamony you want the flavor.

    Larger Group/More Servings:

The written recipe makes one serving using an ounce of Fireball Whisky and a bottle of Angry Orchard. Adjust the slider in the recipe card to the number of servings you need to make more or make it pitcher-style.

Like our Fireball Apple Cider, you can serve this drink in a large pitcher with cinnamon sticks.

    Sugar-Free:ย

The written recipe contains 9 grams of sugar per serving, but the final content depends on your hard apple cider and whether you use Fireball or another cinnamon liqueur.

We are unsure whether you can make this drink 100 percent sugar-free since Fireball Whisky has no sugar-free alcoholic substitutes, but you can lower the sugar content with a light hard cider, such as Angry Orchard Crisp Light.
