Air Fryer Buffalo Cauliflower Recipe

We are always looking for delicious appetizer recipes that are not deep fried. The combination of buffalo sauce and cauliflower florets combine to make the perfect appetizer or side dish.

This is a great alternative to deep fried buffalo wings. I love that these make the perfect vegetarian appetizer for game day parties and family events.

The hardest part of this recipe is the process of dipping the cauliflower and then adding it to the air fryer. We love making a big batch of these buffalo cauliflower and pairing them with our favorite dipping sauces.

How to make Buffalo Cauliflower in the air fryer

Clean and cut cauliflower into bite-sized pieces. Remove stems and make sure they are easy to eat. You want to get even sized florets so they all cook the same.

Melt butter and add Frank Hot Sauce. Stir to mix together.

Combine flour and cornstarch in a medium bowl.

Coat each piece of cauliflower in flour/cornstarch mixture before coating with the Franks Hot Sauce Butter Mixture. Add each piece to the air fryer basket evenly spread out in a single layer.

Air Fry at 350 degrees.

Recipe Tips

We do not preheat the air fryer for this recipe.

Make sure the cauliflower is evenly spread out in the air fryer so the hot air can get around each piece.

Cooking time will be based on your air fryer. Start with the lowest time possible and then add additional minutes until you get them perfect.

All air fryers are different so you will want to watch the cooking time the first few times.

If you are cooking multiple batches you will want to decrease the cooking time for each subsequent batch since the air fryer will be hot.
