Heart Grilled Cheese Sandwiches Recipe

Heart Grilled Cheese Sandwiches are a great surprise for your loved ones!

Yesterday we shared with you a recipe for Heart Toast perfect for Valentine’s Day breakfast. Today we are going to share how we used the heart cut outs from the toast to make super cute and fun Heart Grilled Cheese Sandwiches!

I can honestly say the grilled cheese sandwiches are one of my favorite things! I love a hot bowl of tomato soup with a grilled cheese sandwich. I would melt if John made me this lunch and brought it to me.

I used the center heart cut out from making the Heart Toast yesterday to make these sandwiches. The cutouts were made using  Wilton From The Heart Nesting Cookie Cutter Set.
The set comes with multiple sizes of heart cookie cutters so I was able to make a couple of sizes of sandwiches.

14 Days of Frugal Valentine’s Made With Love

To me Valentine’s Day is not about how much money you spend it is about showing your loved ones that you care for them and want to do something special for them. John and I have been together over 7 years now I still love to show him in cute and funny ways how much he means to me. This year I decided to show him in cute daily fun treats instead of one huge gift. I want to let him know that he is my rock, my love and I could not live without him. I am having so much fun surprising him with these small gifts of love. I hope you are inspired to show your loved ones how much you love them and make them smile at the same time.

Frugal Valentine’s Day tips

Valentine’s Day is a fantastic holiday to celebrate love and relationships. But it can also be a downright crazy expensive holiday at the same time. I just read that the average American will spend $128 on their Valentine’s Day gifts. I would not be very happy if John spent this much on my gifts. We are so focused on reaching our financial goals right now. I don’t want him to spend a ton of money on Valentine’s Day. I just want to spend time together. Here are our Frugal Valentine’s Day tips  to help make Valentine’s Day a ton of fun without costing a fortune.

Pink and White Zebra Print Cake Recipe

I have always wanted to try and make a zebra print cake. I have never tried it before because I thought it was some crazy baking technique that was outside of my skill set. Boy was I wrong. This may be one of the easiest cake designs to make. What I love about this design is you do not have to be perfect! I think the design looks  better when you are not perfect and it is a bit random.

Valentine’s Day Wreath

This year I wanted to make a cute Valentine’s Day Wreath for John’s Mom as a surprise gift. I have to admit I have never made a wreath before. I keep seeing them all over Pinterest and thought I would give it a shot. I had so much fun making this wreath. I made it while we watched TV one night and it turned out better than I could have hoped for. I will definitely be making more wreaths for upcoming holidays.
