The cream cheese adds such epic creaminess to this cheesy dip it is amazing.

Do you ever think about hosting a dip party? Just setting up a huge table of epic dips and having everyone feast on their favorites.

I think I am going to work on setting up a giant dip table for our next party and make all of our favorites at one time.

    Ingredients

    • Olive Oil
    • Pork Sausage
    • Rotel Diced Tomatoes and green chiles
    • Cream Cheese

    Dippers - Chips, tortilla chips

Rotel diced tomatoes and green chilies - Rotel tomatoes can be found at most grocery stores or on Amazon. You can get it in different heat levels so make sure to check which one you are buying.

Sausage - You can use a mild, hot Italian, or spicy sausage depending on your flavor choice. I know a lot of people love Jimmy Dean hot sausage.

Optional - Sprinkle with cheddar cheese for a garnish.

Feel free to add salt and pepper as desired.

    Hamburger Mix n Chop

How to make Sausage Cream Cheese Dip

Step 1 - Add olive oil to a skillet over medium heat. Add sausage to the skillet. Cook sausage until brown breaking it into smaller pieces.

Mix n Chop - We use the mix n chop to break up the sausage and love it.

Step 2 - Drain excess grease from the skillet and return to the heat.

Step 3 - Add in Rotel and Cream Cheese and stir together until completely melted.

Step  4- Serve warm with chips

    Recipe Tips

We make this dip on the stovetop but you can easily make it in a slow cooker/crockpot.

This recipe can be adapted to use ground beef instead of sausage. When we make it with ground beef we normally use Velveeta cheese and change it up a bit.

Feel free to double the cans of Rotel if you want more spice or tomatoes added.

To keep this warm at parties you can store it in a small crock pot on warm and stir it to keep it mixed together.

Make sure to store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator. You can warm the dip up again in the microwave or on the stovetop.

We hope you love this recipe for your Super Bowl Parties or a great snack at home.
