Recipe Tips
We make this dip on the stovetop but you can easily make it in a slow cooker/crockpot.
This recipe can be adapted to use ground beef instead of sausage. When we make it with ground beef we normally use Velveeta cheese and change it up a bit.
Feel free to double the cans of Rotel if you want more spice or tomatoes added.
To keep this warm at parties you can store it in a small crock pot on warm and stir it to keep it mixed together.
Make sure to store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator. You can warm the dip up again in the microwave or on the stovetop.
We hope you love this recipe for your Super Bowl Parties or a great snack at home.
